Good news for crime drama fans, Tony Soprano's Cadillac could soon be yours!

RR Auctions in Boston, USA, is auctioning off one of the two identical 2003 Escalades used in the final three seasons of the popular HBO series.

The SUV has been described as a ' decidedly unique, recognizable prop from one of the most acclaimed television series ever produced'.

It was mostly used in shots of Tony Soprano and his associates coming and going from the car and, according to the auction site, 'in shots where the car appeared in the scene during dialogue'.

But it was also driven on occasion, perhaps most famously in a car chase in season five where Tony Soprano attempts to collect a debt by driving Phil Leotardo into a parked car on the side of the road.

The auction house also states: "James Gandolfini has also prominently signed the interior of the Escalade twice in black felt tip, once inside the driver's side sun visor, "Thanks for the truck, James Gandolfini," and once on the panel above the glovebox, "James Gandolfini."

The minimum bid for this piece of television history is $5,000.

Another piece of motoring history was also auctioned earlier this year.

A specially adapted Porsche owned by Steve McQueen which would normally be worth between £60,000 and £90,000 was eventually sold for £1.25 million, according to the Sunday Times Driving.

McQueen bought the car in 1976 and kept it for two years. The car was adapted at the actor's request to include a 'kill button' - a switch to turn off the rear lights if he was chased by the police on Mulholland Drive.
