Information supplied by National Savings & Investments

For the November 2015 draw, the Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment (ERNIE) paid out more than 2.2 million prizes worth over £65 million. There were 57,798,418,967 eligible Bond numbers in the draw.

The grand total of prizes since the first draw in 1957 is now 329 million, worth a total of £16.2 billion.

There are currently over 1.1 million unclaimed Premium Bonds prizes, totally more than £50 million.

If you're worried about missing out on unclaimed prizes then why not register your numbers and have any winnings paid directly into your bank account. This can be done on the NS&I website here. There is no time limit for claiming prizes.

The Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment (ERNIE) generates numbers at random and it is impossible for anyone to predict ERNIE's numbers.
