This footage shows what happens when you interrupt an male lion while it is trying to mate.

The disgruntled animal can be seen expressing his frustration at some tourists after being watched during his private moment.

The pair of lions were caught in the middle of a mating ritual by a couple of visitors in their car.

At first the animals seem to be unaware of their audience - but quickly step apart and make their way towards the vehicle.

Although the lioness seems disinterested, walking straight past the car, the male lion seems a little keener to express his anger.

Strolling towards the visitors he stops just short of the left hand door, letting out a gentle roar before staring down the car's passengers.

It seems one of them then appears to try and take a picture, accidentally letting the flash off at the same time as someone says: "I don't think he liked that flash."

The animal continues to look into the car before the man inside the vehicle can be heard saying: "I hope he doesn't jump on the car."

The lion approaches the car at the end of the video, although it appears his anger has dissipated as he just has a slow glare before turning away again, leaving the passengers to enjoy the rest of their safari safely.
