A pair of spectacularly-rare Ferraris have sold for £8.53m, with all proceeds going to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

The 1960 250 GT SWB and 1967 275 GTB/4 are from the estate of the late Richard Colton, a British collector of V12-powered Ferraris, who kindly left them to the RNLI in his will.
