American Airlines flight delayed by giant mass of bees
Bees have been known to travel miles during their working day, but it appears some of them got a little tired of flying themselves recently.
An American Airlines flight departing from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport was delayed because a giant mass of bees had stowed away on the plane.

Luckily for the passengers on board, the bees had opted to cling on to the outside of the plane rather than taking up residence inside.
Karina McKay, of KCBD News, said on Twitter: "Not what you want to hear- AA flight delayed on runway because of 500 bees under wing."

Someone dressed in what one passenger described as a 'space suit' was able to remove the bees from their temporary home, making it safe for the passengers on board once more.
The plane eventually left Dallas Fort Worth airport about an hour after the designated take off time.
Amazingly, this isn't the first time a swarm of bees have created problems with an international departure.
Last year and airborne plane had to turn around because a swarm of bees was hovering around the windshield.
