Next week, presenters James May, Ant Anstead and Kate Humble will go behind the scenes to see how one of Britain's most famous cars is built – and you're invited to join them.

Over two nights in a pair of live broadcasts on BBC2, they'll reveal the science and engineering behind the process and meet the people who produce almost 1000 Minis in Oxford every day. The three presenters will follow the building of the Mini from start to finish in a little over 24 hours.

Ahead of the show, called Building Cars Live, AOL Cars caught up with Ant Anstead, who starred alongside Philip Glenister in For the Love of Cars, to find out more.
