Two four-month-old snow leopard cubs, Malaya and Daania, have made their public debut at the Brookfield Zoo, Chicago Illinois.

This was their first appearance since they were born on June 16th. This is the second litter for the zoo's adult snow leopard pair, Sarani and Sabu.

The twin girls weighed less than 1lb each when they were born; they now weigh in at 20b.

The cute cubs should survive winter in Chicago, aka the Windy City, without any problem. Their furry paws act as natural snow shoes and their long thick tails keep them warm on freezing winter days.

The snow leopard is extremely rare in the wild and is an endangered species. It's estimated that there are fewer than 6,500 left in the wild.
