Are Tesco really security tagging their plastic bags?
Sorry, slight meltdown there. But we think you'll agree it's warranted when you see the length one Tesco in London has gone to in order to protect its plastic bags.
As if Tesco have started putting security tags on the bags... Come on guys 😂 pic.twitter.com/VdG5Z6x7rD

Yes, those are security tags on Tesco's 10p bags for life – and while the supermarket chain told us this was an error, somebody still thought it a necessary thing to do when they got in this morning, for whatever reason.
A Tesco spokesman said: "We've been doing everything we can to help customers minimise the impact of the bag levy charge and we're really pleased with how our customers have responded. This incident was a mistake, security tags should not be placed on this product."
It comes as all plastic bags in supermarkets in England now cost 5p, and this latest news is threatening to send people over the edge. Okay, so maybe not. They'll just continue bringing in their own bags.
Man are walking around Tesco with Morrisons bags. Hahahshsaahashadtraysbsb

Although, to be fair, the trolleys suddenly seem very good value.
So @Tesco is security tagging 10p bags? Don't they realise you can get a whole trolley for just a £1? Haha
