VW sales figures remain unaffected by scandal, report shows

A report has shown that rather than diminishing Volkswagen's sales, the recent emissions scandal has in fact increased them.

The report, generated by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, has shown that sales for Volkswagen are up by 4 per cent for the whole month. Audi sales are up by an incredible 11 per cent. These come in the context of a general rise in the sale of light vehicles of 8.6 per cent for the entire month.
