Taxi drivers protest in central London over Uber app

Roads in the heart of London's financial district were this week brought to a standstill as hundreds of cab drivers protested against app-based taxi service Uber.

The demonstration was the latest in a series of protests by taxi drivers across the world over a lack of regulation surrounding the Uber app and its drivers.
