Callum Logan out for the count as Coronation Street live episode wows viewers

Coronation Street's highly anticipated live special episode opened with a bang with drug dealer Callum Logan getting a blow to the head.

The villain, played by Sean Ward, was the bookies' favourite to be killed off and within minutes his former girlfriend Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) had left him lying in a pool of blood after a blow to the head with a wrench.

Kylie had rushed to the rescue when Callum attacked ex-girlfriend Sarah-Louise Platt (Tina O'Brien) and many viewers tweeted that they were gripped by the dramatic storyline and praised the actors' performances.
