Domino's customer gets $1,300 instead of chicken wings
One lucky California man got a little more than he bargained for when he placed an order at popular pizza delivery restaurant, Domino's.
Mike Vegas ordered a pizza and some chicken wings from the takeaway but on delivery was given a pizza and something very different.
Vegas was amazed to discover nearly $1,300 (£840) in cash in the chicken wings box.
It turns out the driver was supposed to make the delivery to Vegas and then take the money to the bank to cash it in.
He put the cash into one of the delivery boxes to keep it safe but clearly managed to hand the wrong box over to Vegas.
Despite posting a picture on his Facebook page with the caption #doihavetogiveitback, Vegas did indeed return the money to the pizzeria.
But he's not all out of luck, as a gesture of good will his local Domino's have offered him free pizzas for the next year!
Amazingly this isn't even the first time that this has happened. CBS reported a similar situation in 2013 when McDonald's customers in Tennessee ended up with cash that was destined for the bank instead of their order.
