What your sleep position says about you
According to experts, there's a lot more to the way you sleep than comfort. Sleep positions can affect your health and also reveal personality types! So, which category do you fall into?
The side-winder: These people sleep on their side with their arms out suggesting an open and inviting personality. People who may have a slightly deviated septum usually sleep with their 'better nostril' up towards the ceiling to aid breathing.
Face planter: This involves sleeping on your front with limbs evenly spread out. This is probably the worst position for those who suffer back and neck problems, but best for those who get told off for snoring. It's also been called the 'the freefaller' - experts say it could mean you often feel like you don't have much control over your life.
The baby baller: This is the most popular position. Curled up in the fetal position could mean you're a worrier, and these people tend to be hard on the outside but softies on the inside. Side-sleeping can cause nerve compression in the arms and legs, which can lead to chronic pain.
Innocent sleeper: This position is the opposite to the face planter. Lying on your back with limbs spread out to the sides. It is supposed to be signify a person who is a great listener and loyal. But it's the worse position for snoring.
If you don't like what your sleep position says about you, rest easy. Most people move 4-6 times an hour during a night's sleep!
