Man dies after falling through roof of industrial building
A man has died after falling through a roof at industrial premises in the Cannock area of Staffordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said the victim went into traumatic cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident in Norton Green Lane, Norton Canes.
Both Midland Air Ambulances attended the site after a 999 call made at around 2.25pm, and a hazardous area response team was also called out.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "Crews arrived to find a man who is believed to have fallen through a roof to the ground below.
"Ambulance medics carried out advanced life support but sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead."
