Holidays should leave you with lifelong memories, but some people return from their getaways wishing they could just forget them. Holidays from hell come in all different forms and can involve anything from a nightmare flight before to getting sick at a resort and ending up in hospital abroad. We've rounded up some of the worst holiday experiences that could really put you off taking a trip again...

The British holidaymaker who was arrested in Rhodes and thrown in jail for 72 armed robberies he did not commit, for example, probably won't be returning to the Greek island anytime soon.

Then there was the hen party that discovered a dead body in the room next door - complete with awful stench and flies buzzing. The group certainly won't be checking into that guest house again!
