Porsche has unveiled a shock new rival to the Tesla Model S at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Labelled the 'Mission E', Porsche's concept signals its intent at cornering the electric saloon market before 2020. Showcasing their energy storage mastery developed through the Le Mans-winning 919 Hybrid racer, the new four-door reportedly hints at a new Tesla rival that's being primed for launch before the end of the decade.
