A video of a group of longboarders skating down Norway's stunning mountains has gone viral.

The short film, called Ishtar X Tussilago, shows the longboarders careering downhill and occasionally falling.

Filmmaker Maceo Frost said the film is a "glimpse into the profound feeling of believing in yourself and living one's greatest dreams."

In the film, longboarder Bäcklund says: "One day I'm going to travel the world. I'm gonna do everything. I just wanted to see the world and learn.

"You should do what you believe in. Just follow that feeling. Everything else is a lie."

"We are used to hearing, that you can't just dream all the time. You know, that old way of thinking. And it's not true anymore because we just keep proving it wrong by succeeding in what we believe in."

In 2013, an experienced longboarder got more than she bargained for when she was enjoying a thrill-seeking ride down a rural road - and a herd of cows walked out into her path.

Amanda Roden set off for a high-speed trip down Maryhill Loops Road in Goldendale, Washington, which is the regular venue for longboarding's International Downhill Federation World Cup Series each year.

The road is privately owned and closed to vehicles, but Miss Roden hadn't counted on cows wandering into her path. Miss Roden had no time to avoid the animals and ended up careering into a cow's behind.

Neither the animals or the Amanda were hurt, and in fact she headed straight back to the top for another trip after the incident.
