Former Top Gear presenter and new Amazon star Richard Hammond has spoken out about the rollercoaster ride that was his Top Gear tenure, whether he can ever replace it, and of course that mega-bucks Prime deal, in a somewhat telling interview with The Times.

Immediately answering the question that every petrol head in the land is craving to ask, Hammond told The Times: "There's a lot to be done because we will reinvent, do new stuff, and that's as invigorating as it gets.
