This footage, filmed at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, shows the journey one bag makes as it's fired through the heart of the airport to its eventual destination.

The film begins with a baggage handler tossing a shiny black suitcase onto a conveyor belt. A camera attached to the luggage gives us a first hand view of what goes on after that.

It shows the multiple twists and turns, various conveyor belts and rollers that it takes to filter these items through the insides of the terminal.

The end of the film shows what appears to be a electronic arm taking the suitcase off the conveyor belt and delivering it to its final destination.

At London's Heathrow Airport there are 30 miles of conveyors as well as 2.8 miles of tunnels and 44 baggage reclaim belts, the Mail Online reports.

Schiphol is one of the busiest airports in Europe, not only flying to the continent but also serving international airports as well.

According to Vanderlande, it's estimated that Holland's biggest airport handles 70 million pieces of luggage each year.
