Motorists stung with fines as machine issues faulty tickets

Visitors to the Rhyl Airshow in Denbighshire were shocked to find that tickets dispensed by a pay and display machine were out of date after returning to their penalty ticketed cars.

Drivers were fined after parking near Splash Point during the airshow, despite displaying what they thought were valid parking tickets.
