Miley Cyrus, winner of 2014´s video of the year for Wrecking Ball, will host the 2015 VMAs. Two years ago, she stole the show with her racy twerking performance alongside Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke.

Minaj, who famously had a wardrobe malfunction at the VMAs in 2014, will open this year's event before handing over to Cyrus.

Performances on the night will come from Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Pharrell Williams and Twenty One Pilots.
