Caught red-handed! Man runs key along side of £100,000 Aston Martin
A man pushing a buggy has been caught on film running a key along the side of a pricey Aston Martin.
The owner of the £100,000 V8 Vantage had left his vehicle parked up at supermarket in Hackney, east London, leaving his onboard dashcam recording.
The video shows the unidentified man pacing back and forth in front of the Aston, before walking alongside the passenger's door with a bunch of keys he pulled from his pocket.
According to the Daily Mail, the man - who clearly didn't know that a tiny lens was capturing the crime - caused £9,000 worth of damage to the luxury sports car.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told the newspaper: "Police have released CCTV footage and a still of a man they want to trace in connection with the criminal damage of an Aston Martin car.
"Police were called on Friday, 19 June to reports of criminal damage to a car parked in a supermarket car park."
