A diver has had another close encounter with one of the world's biggest known great white sharks.

Mauricio Hoyos Padilla, a conservationist, is helping to protect the shark, known as Deep Blue, in Guadalupe Island in Mexico.

The great white is truly enormous at 20ft (six metres) in length, and also looks wider than usual because she is pregnant.

Mr Padilla famously posted a video of himself 'high fiving' the shark while shooting a documentary for the Discovery Channel.

And he's now uploaded a video of a new encounter with the large animal on his Facebook page. *And he's not even completely covered by the cage*.

Along with the video, Mauricio explained that he is working on campaign that is seeking to help protect Deep Blue.

He writes: "This amazingly enormous female is carrying several little baby white sharks.

"When white sharks are about to give birth, they get close to the shore and deliver their pups in shallow areas, known as nursery grounds.

"Unfortunately, these areas are very vulnerable to several human threats."

His team tries to tag pregnant sharks and determine their nursery grounds in order to give the Mexican Government the information to help protect them.
