Geri Halliwell celebrates birthday by bodyboarding and go-karting in Cornwall

Geri Halliwell celebrated her 43rd birthday with adventurous holiday activities on a family break in Cornwall.

The Spice Girl shared photos from the staycation on Instagram and wrote about trying new things, including bodyboarding and go-karting.

Geri was pictured with new husband Christian Horner and her nine-year-old daughter Bluebell at the seaside location in Cornwall.

Posting a snap of herself in a wetsuit after bodyboarding, she wrote: "I really was quite happy to read my book , but body boarding was fun."

In another picture, she is seen posing with Bluebell and Christian on a hill with the sea behind them, which she captioned: "Holidays are amazing , no matter where you are , it's who you're with that makes the memories."

Shortly after her wedding in May, Geri enjoyed a hiking trip to Austria, taking in the mountains and countryside on the European break.

For the couple's honeymoon, they jetted off to Cannes to soak up the French Riviera sunshine.

Geri married Christian in front of family and friends in Bedfordshire. Celebrity guests included Emma Bunton, Dawn French and Amanda Holden.
