Police brutality is a phrase you often link with the 1980s, but that hasn't prevented it from springing up in recent news. American officers aren't always portrayed in the best light, but in comparison to these Russian traffic cops, they seem relatively tame.

You would expect the police to be more law abiding than we are. As it turns out, this isn't always the case. In this video, for example, the vehicle in question is seen making a sensible overtaking manoeuvre, when the dash-mounted camera captures a red van with blacked-out windows pulling out into the middle of the road.
