Man scratches line of cars in vandalism spree

DAMAGE running into thousands of pounds has been caused to cars by somebody scratching a line of them during the night.

Residents in a road in Salford, Greater Manchester, were sickened to find when they awoke that nearly a dozen vehicles had been targeted in the mindless attack, with the paintwork suffering deep and long gouges.
