Freebie Friday, useful freebies to get your hands on today
Sometimes the world of special offers seems a bit remote: where you're given the chance to buy something you wouldn't normally pay for - at a knock down price you can't afford. But while you're fending off emails from companies offering you a bargain luxury spa day or cut price Segway safari, you can take some comfort from the fact that sometimes the world of freebies is much more down to earth.
This week we have some great freebies that you're likely to want - and possibly even need - from a free hot drink, to free shower gel, breakfast and a cocktail.

Free hot drink
If you are on the O2 mobile network, then you can get a free hot drink at Cafe Nero this week. Drinks included in the deal are all sizes of espresso, latte, cappuccino, flat white, mocha, Americano, standard hot chocolate or tea. You need to download the app, then order the drink and show your code in store. The deal is valid every weekday from 10am - although every user can only take advantage of the deal once.
Free shower gel
If you spend £35 or more at L'Occitane - including something from the harvest collection - they'll give you a free shower gel. These would normally set you back £14, so if you tend to splash out on toiletries like this, it's a useful saving
Free Bellini cocktail
Jamie's Italian runs a Gold Club, and if you sign up for free, you'll get a freebie each time you visit and show your card. This will usually be an interesting dish to taste while you wait for your starter, but this month it's a free Bellini cocktail or homemade lemonade. You'll also get a special freebie when you celebrate a birthday with the chain.
Free wildlife pack
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is running a Big Wild Sleepout on 7-9 August. It's encouraging families to sleep outside either in their garden or at an organised event - to reconnect with nature. They can be in a tent, build a shelter, or just sleep under the stars. To help families make the most of the night, they are giving away free packs including a 'moth lure', hot chocolate and information on the wildlife you can hope to find.
Free breakfast
Until the end of August, Cafe Rouge is offering two breakfasts for the price of one. You'll need to fill out your details online and submit the form, and you'll get a voucher code. Just show your code to the staff in any branch (excluding Centre Parcs, Euston express or Victoria), and you can choose from the Full English breakfast - or the vegetarian version. There's only one voucher allowed per table, and it has to be used before noon.
