Penis-shaped road marks left by bungling workers
Staffordshire County Council has been left red-faced after workers unwittingly left a road covered with penis-shaped markings after using the wrong paint.
Over 300 residents have been left furious over the "obscene" markings accidentally scorched into the tarmac.

The plan was to just cover old road markings, but the wrong paint was used.
It was meant to be a preventative treatment to try and maintain the road in Tamworth.
Speaking to the Mirror, councillor Mark Deaville, cabinet support member for highways and transport, explained what happened: "When the work was carried out the material caused a reaction with the painted white lines on the road which caused them to miss-shape.
"The effect was purely cosmetic and the material has now settled.
"Our highways team are now working with the contractor to resolve the aesthetic issues on site."
According to the Daily Mail, one angry resident Steven Rowlands, 43, said: "It is terrible. The road looks ridiculous now, it is in a right mess.
"I can't see how they can make such a mistake but it's awful. I know a lot of residents who have complained to the council. They are obscene."
