This summer of fluctuating weather means there's no time to waste: we have to cram as much summer fun into the good days - when we're not working - as we can. And we have a handful of freebies to help you do just that. There's a free cold drink and chocolate bar to fuel the fun, free theatre tickets, and even free money.

Free cold drink
The users of hotukdeals.com have pointed out that until the end of August, Greggs is offering its reward card customers a free drink from its new cold drinks range - including Ginger Beer, Cloudy Lemonade, Lemon and Lime Water and Tropical Juice. The card is designed to be loaded up with cash and used to spend money in store, so you'll need to put something on the card to get the deal, but if you were planning to go to Greggs anyway, it's worth doing and getting the extra freebie.

Free kids' theatre tickets
Every year the West End in London throws kids' week - which bizarrely runs for the whole month of August - where you get a free child's ticket with every full paying adult - while stocks last. The tickets are selling out fast, but you can still snap up tickets for everything from Billy Elliot to The Gruffalo. You can check the shows and dates on the website.

Free chocolate
If you sign up for a newsletter from latest free stuff you'll get one of the 500 free Cadbury chocolate bars they give away each month. The newsletter will alert you to other freebies too - so this could be the first of many.

Free mascara
You can pick up a free CID intense mascara or lip gloss with the August edition of Cosmopolitan. The magazine will set you back £3.80, but given that both of the items would normally set you back upwards of £15, it's a small price to pay if you're in the market for cosmetics.

Get paid £2.10
If you're a member of Topcashback.co.uk, and you sign up to Bespoke Offers through the topcashback site, they'll give you £2.10 cash back. Bespoke Offers from Barclaycard is a bit like Groupon, with the added advantage that if you fill out the additional information section, you'll get offers that it thinks will be particularly suitable for you. If you carry on and buy through the site you'll get 15.1% cashback on your purchase too.
