When you can't afford to buy the car you've always dreamed of owning, there is one way to overcome the cost: build your own. That's exactly what Peter Giacobbi did.

Giacobbi – former director of engineering at DeLorean and builder of the one-off Sinthesis 2000 of 1970 – didn't have the cash to throw at the real thing, so he went ahead and built is own. A real Ferrari Testa Rossa is a multi-million pound car, but Giacobbi wouldn't trade in the car he's made to live out his childhood dreams in, if someone offered him the real thing.
