Eurostar delays: make sure you claim compensation
Eurostar passengers suffered massive delays and cancellations yesterday due to industrial action in France, with some even being forced to spend the night at St Pancras Station.
While Eurostar travellers have complained conflicting information, the company insists all affected passengers can travel at a different date or get a full refund.
The best way to do so is online using this link (make sure you have your booking reference handy) or you can call on 03432 186 186.
We're sorry to our passengers for today's delays and cancellations. Tickets for travel today can be exchanged here: http://t.co/5YaZtsRCW1

Although Eurostar says trains are now running without delay, but if you're travelling today it's worth holding onto your ticket just in case.
Should you be held up, you'll have a year to claim your compensation. "Please allow 72 hours from your date of travel before contacting us so we have all the necessary information available," Eurostar says.
Call Eurostar's Traveller Care service (01777 777 879), which is open 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. Or you can email traveller.care@eurostar.com.
Eurostar asks that you include details of what happened and your six-letter booking reference.
