Three killed in Leamington Spa crash
Three people have died following a car crash in the early hours of Saturday in Leamington Spa.
A blue Citroen Saxo travelling on the A425 is believed to have left the road and smashed into a tree and a wall.
A 27-year-old woman and two men aged 25 and 23 were killed in the collision on Radford Road.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, are in a stable condition in hospital.
According to the BBC, a 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman told the Leamington Observer: "Crews arrived to find a car that had left the road and been in collision with a tree and wall.
"Two men and one woman suffered multiple serious injuries in the crash. Unfortunately nothing could be done to save them and all three were confirmed dead at the scene by medics.
"Two further men were injured in the crash, a man believed to be in his 20s suffered serious leg and head injuries while another man suffered back and neck injuries."
Warwickshire Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
