Video footage of the terrifying moment a great white shark rams its head into a diving cage full of tourists has gone viral again after resurfacing.

The film shows the cage divers watching the incredible moment a large and stunning shark swims past them, in between them and another cage of divers.

But while their attention is focused on that shark swimming past, another shark takes the opportunity to launch an attack on the cage, jamming its head through the metal bars.

A woman turns around to find herself face to face with its awesome teeth, and cries "Oh my God".

A true gent above her manages to kick the predator's head out with his foot.

The film was taken near Guadalupe Island in Mexico and was uploaded to YouTube by Paul Whittaker in 2013.

It has now also appeared on Reddit, clocking up over 100,000 views and making the footage go viral again, reports the Mirror.

One YouTube user wrote: "Kudos to the crazy f***** who stuck his foot next to its mouth to kick it out."

Another said: "Haha, that'll wake you up. Looks like it's not the first time that guy booted a shark's head out of the cage."

Joking about the sharks' 'tactics' somebody wrote: "Bro, you go distract them while I sneak in through the back."

While another person voiced concerns about the shark getting through if it was a little smaller: "If that shark was a little younger and smaller it coulda got in there and bit someone...they should make those gaps smaller."
