Model has China's longest legs
Chinese model Dong Lei has been showing off her famous legs, known as the longest in China.
Measuring a whopping 45 inches, Dong's legs make up 60% of her total height. The legs of the 5ft 11in model are about 15% longer than the average person in terms of leg to torso ratio.
"I'm so proud of my legs," she said. "I will be top model in the world. I find it incredible that I have suddenly become an internet celebrity. I will work hard to succeed going forward and hope for the best."
Ms Dong, 20, said that she gets her height from her 6ft 1in father and 5ft 7in mother.
She was working as a trainee teacher in Anhui province, eastern China, when she suddenly shot to internet fame after appearing on reality TV show Supermodel.
Nicknamed 'tui tui'
On the show she earned the nickname 'tui tui', meaning long legs. One fan even wrote in advising her to insure her legs after seeing photographs of the model online.
When the leggy beauty was 16 years old, she was already 5 ft 9in and her mother sent her to etiquette classes because she was worried about her posture.
Her parents encouraged her to train as a teacher at university, reports the Daily Mail, but after graduating she decided to enter a modelling competition in Beijing and was later signed by a modelling agency.
Last year, model Brooke Banker laid claim to having the longest legs in New York, measuring 47 inches.
Former basketball player Svetlana Pankratova, from Russia, has the world's longest legs according to Guinness World Records. Her impressive limbs measure 51.9 inches.
