When Alicia of Moonlit Oaks Ranch, Keystone Heights, Florida adopted a donkey a few years ago her main aim was to nurse him back to health after his previous owners didn't feed him properly.

Little did she know Donkeyotee had a secret talent that she would soon uncover.

In this video you can see Alicia playing the violin in front of Donkeyotee and a small child only for the tuneful donkey to join in with music after a while.

As Huffington Post point out, neither the violinist or the donkey are particularly tuneful, they make a sweet pair of musicians.

And it seems that the adorably named Donkeyotee isn't the only donkey with a bit of talent.

In this clip you can see Pancho the donkey who seems not to be too impressed by the seasonal music playing in the background as he quickly drowns out Wizzard's 'I Wish it Could be Christmas Every Day'.

In a bizarre scene, the above footage shows a man seemingly on the side of a country lane blasting music out of his trumpet while standing alongside a braying donkey.

The donkey keeps going until the end of the song, by which point it seems the pair have gathered quite a crowd.

Thankfully this gentleman's trumpet playing was a little easier on the ears than the violin!
