Audi unveils ultimate TT concept
The standard TT might get stick from petrolheads for not being a proper sports car, with it focusing more on style than sharp handling.
This isn't the case with Audi's new TT Clubsport Turbo concept, however. This monster has not only received a hefty dose of visual steroids for a more muscular look, but it's got the muscle under the skin to back it up, with a whopping 592bhp on tap.
With a heavily tuned 2.5-litre turbocharged motor under the bonnet and four-wheel drive to contain the healthy horsepower count, this TT can rocket to 62mph in a rapid 3.6 seconds and keep going all the way to 192mph.
What's more, with this engine packing five-cylinders, it also sings a throaty tune, which is guaranteed to grab the attention of pedestrians and drivers alike.
It may just be a concept currently on show at Worthersee, Austria's annual meeting for Volkswagen Group fans, but we hope to see some of the Clubsport Turbo's styling details – and impressive tech – appearing on standard TTs to come.
Have a look and a listen to this super-TT in the video below.
