Porsche crashes into coffee shop

A driver had to be treated for minor injuries after her sports car crashed through a coffee shop window, the Press Association reports.

Two people were also temporarily trapped inside the Gerrards Cross branch of Caffe Nero in Buckinghamshire when the Porsche smashed through the shop front this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Packhorse Road at around 12.20pm.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "The incident involved one vehicle and resulted in minor injuries to a woman who was the only person in the car.

"Two people, a man and a woman, were also temporarily trapped inside the building but were released.

"The road has since been reopened."

Police said the incident was not thought to be suspicious.
