David Hasselhoff puts home on the market for £1.5m

Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has put his $2.2m (£1.5m) US home on sale due to his increasing work commitments in the UK.

Hasselhoff, 62, currently shares his Calabasas home with his 35-year-old Welsh girlfriend, Hayley Roberts who he met while filming Britain's Got Talent in Cardiff in 2011, the Mirror reports.

The five-bedroom home, which is listed for $2,199,000, also boasts six bathrooms, a tropical garden and a sizeable swimming pool to cool off in.

The gated Los Angeles neighbourhood is home to more than a few celebrities, including the Kardashian family.

The couple have lived in the mansion for the last two years and the house sits in 1.54 acres of gardens filled with palm trees and exotic plants.

Speaking of her life in the US Hayley has said: "Everything has changed, but I am still very much a Welsh girl.

She added: "I want to move back, so I will have to make David move. It is home to me. Maybe we'll move in two or three years time, we'll have to see."

The listing describes the house, which was built in 1990, as an "absolutely stunning custom French Mediterranean showplace in the exclusive small gated community of Hidden Hills West."

Trulia real estate also list the house as "Very private. Great home and property for entertaining or just to enjoy life!"
