A TV presenter has been accused by his former partner of not paying child maintenance for their children – just days after he boasted of spending £100,000 on his kids from his current marriage.

Dan Hill, who presents the show Storage Hunters UK, recently told The Sun that he and his wife Louise had made numerous lavish purchases for their new-born twins, including a £2,500 pram, a £1,250 Louis Vuitton changing bag and £1,600 ornamental milk bottles covered in Swarovski crystals.

His wife added that they planned to spend £20,000 on the twins' first birthday party.

Other children 'only received £505'

Such lavish spending comes in sharp contrast to claims from his previous partner, Charis Williams, that Hill has repeatedly failed to pay child maintenance for their two children.

The Argus has reported that the father paid just £505 in the last four-and-a-half years, and owed his former partner more than £9,000 in child maintenance.

Ms Williams accused Hill of "making a mockery" of the child support system, and alleged the sum he owed should actually be far higher based on Hill's earnings.

Hill has since responded on Twitter, labelling his ex a 'money grabber'. Full tweet below:
