McLaren 675LT hits Spa Francorchamps
Fresh from being unveiled at the Geneva motor show last month, McLaren's Super Series flagship, the 675LT, has been spied stretching its legs at Belgium's Spa Francorchamps racetrack.
Driven by McLaren's chief test pilot Chris Goodwin, every square inch of the car is covered in unique camouflage paint, made up of overlaid silhouettes of the marque's iconic racing cars.
The car makes light work of the 4.4-mile track, but then it would as it's got a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 firing 666bhp at the rear wheels and takes just 2.9 seconds to cover the 0-62mph sprint. Keep an eye out for the 675LT's 'long-tail' airbrake – the most obvious alteration over the standard 650S on which it is based.
The 675LT is available to order now, with the first customer deliveries expected in July. Prices start from £259,500 and just 500 examples will be made.
