A teen motorist has reportedly lost her job after tweeting that she knocked a cyclist off his bike in Surrey before driving off on Thursday.

Before it was deleted, the account's bio read: "I'm a very silly 18 year old girl that tweets about knocking a cyclist off their bike then driving off."

According to the Evening Standard, the tweets, which have now been deleted, read: "I just knocked a cyclist off his bike with my wing mirror. I was driving like 10mph. I didn't stop because he got upjQuery19106248854908626527_1429873754646"

And another read: "Why do f***ing cyclist [sic] ride in the f***ing road c****?"

The tweeter voluntarily took herself to the police station, and Surrey Roads Police said she has been cautioned.

In a tweet, they also revealed the girl has reportedly lost her job over the incident.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: "Surrey Police received reports at the end of March that a woman claimed on social media to have made contact with a cyclist while driving her car in Staines.

"The driver voluntarily attended Staines Police Station on April 22 and was given words of advice in relation to the incident."
