On her visit to a church during her trip to Armenia, Kim Kardashian's bodyguards reportedly tried to keep journalists and fans out of the building by closing the doors, infuriating the local bishop.

AP reports that Kim's entourage went into the Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God and closed the doors to keep other people out, but bishop Mikayel Adjapagian objected from obstructing worshippers.

The doors remained open.

Kim, along with her husband Kanye West, daughter North and sister Khloe Armenia, made the trip to learn about her heritage.

On Saturday, they were in Gyumri, a city 55 miles northwest of the capital Yerevan, where records show some Kardashian ancestors lived.

Sister Kourtney took to Instagram to explain why she was not on the trip with Kim and Khloe.

"I wish I was in Armenia with my sisters on #siblingsday!" she said.

"I didn't end up going to Armenia because it was making me too anxious with three young children. I do wish that I could have experienced the trip with my sisters but I do know that we will all go to Armenia together someday."
