A TV reporter's hilarious reaction when a large rooster starts getting flappy in his arms has been caught on camera.

The Australian reporter is just starting a piece to camera about a bird show when the animal 'attacks', well starts flapping and trying to get away.

The reporter does not take too kindly to the behaviour and lets out a terrified scream, before running off down the corridor.

The animal's handler is forced to come into shot to retrieve the animal before all hell breaks loose.

The reporter was from Australia's Nine Network, but we don't get to see how the rest of his segment panned out, unfortunately.

Meanwhile, this month an aggressive eagle owl nicknamed the "terror owl" after it attacked local residents in a Dutch city was finally caught.

The owl attacked more than 50 people in Purmerend, north of Amsterdam, in the last year.

According to the Independent, the local council now needs to find a suitable place to release the angry bird after it was given special permission to catch the protected species which posed a threat to residents.

Some victims were taken to hospital and two runners needed stitches after being attacked by the bird.
