A Byron Bay fisherman was knocked out of his boat by a massive great white shark in Australia.
Luckily, Robbie Graham managed to survive the terrifying encounter.
Mr Graham was fishing alone close to Julian Rocks on Wednesday morning.
He was reeling in a tuna when a massive shark charged his tinny, knocking him into the water, reports the Northern Star.
"This huge shark about 15ft (4.5m) came launching into the side of the boat and knocked him off his feet into the water," Mr Graham's friend and fellow fisherman Hoss McGrath said.
Mr McGrath added that Mr Graham was ok, despite suffering some heavy bruising to his ribs in the fall overboard.
Mr Graham managed to get out of the water and back into his boat and immediately returned to shore and notified lifeguards.
Byron Bay's beaches were closed for the rest of the day following the close encounter.
According to Echo Net Daily, local mayors from the north coast will attend a meeting with shark experts to examine non lethal options for deterring sharks following a spate of attacks in the area.
