Plane hits patrol car on tarmac at Saudi Arabia airport

A plane crashed into a patrol car on the runway at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The car was crushed following the collision with the Saudi Arabian jet.

The aircraft was taxiing to the hanger for routine maintenance when the incident occured, the Daily Mail reports.

According to Aviation Pros, one side of the patrol vehicle was completely obliterated underneath the turbine and the plane's right-hand side engine also suffered some damage.

There were no passengers on the jet at the time.

The driver of the patrol car suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital following the crash.

The incident is no being investigated.
