Police search for man after 11-year-old girl's hair cut in restaurant
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after an 11-year-old girl's hair was cut as she waited in a restaurant in Newcastle.
The bizarre incident happened at the Northumberland Street branch of McDonald's in Newcastle at 5.50pm on Friday December 12. Words: PA
Northumbria Police said the girl was waiting in the queue when someone cut her hair with scissors.
A spokesman said: "Police investigating the assault have released CCTV of a man they need to speak to who may be able to help with their inquiries."
