Man feeds huge bear through window (video)

A Russian man has filmed the moment he fed an enormous brown bear through his window.

He can be seen leaving lumps of meat on the windowsill and the bear uses its mouth and giant paws - and claws - to get the food.

The man can even be seen putting his hand out over the bear's paw, invoking fears that it could be bitten off at any given moment.

A number of users took to the comments box on YouTube to say what a bad idea the move was.

One said: "Oh dear god. Every single night this bear is gonna want food. The night you don't give her some, she's going to eat you, sir! "

Another wrote: "Really bad idea. This bear will now come to this house every day, and one day when it's really hungry go in and kill you all. "

Others made jokes about the situation, with one writing: "How to dispose of a body", while another wrote simply: "Beardonalds."

The brown bear is a large animal, and can weigh up to 1400lbs.

It can be found living in parts of Russia, India, China, Canada, the United States (mostly Alaska), Scandinavia and the Carpathian region (especially Romania).

The brown bear is recognised as a national and state animal in several European countries, and is the most widely distributed of all bear species.
