Bruce Jenner in car crash, one woman killed

Olympic gold medallist and reality TV star Bruce Jenner has been involved in a car crash in Southern California which left one woman dead.

The 65-year-old was not hurt in the collision but seven others were taken to hospital.

According to the BBC, the woman in her seventies was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened on the Pacific Coast Highway on Saturday and involved four cars.

Bruce Jenner's Cadillac Escalade went into the back of a Lexus sedan, which had hit the back of a Toyota Prius. The Lexus then veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a black Hummer.

Sheriff's Deputy Ryan Rouzan said that Jenner cooperated with investigators and passed a sobriety test to determine whether he was intoxicated, The Guardian reports.

"He did not appear intoxicated or under the influence of anything at the time," Brooks added.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials are trying to determine what happened but there are reports that Jenner was being followed by the paparazzi.
