Planes collide mid-air in Alaska
Two pilots have been injured after a mid-air plane collision in Alaska.
Both pilots are alive but one has been left seriously injured after the crash, which occurred over Alaska's Matanuska-Susitna Valley.
One of the planes was an Alaska Wildife Trooper aircraft.
Speaking to the KTUU, Alaska State Troopers said: "The Alaska Wildlife Trooper was transported by ground ambulance to Mat-Su Regional Hospital.
"The other pilot had to be extricated and was transported via LifeMed to Providence Hospital in Anchorage."
Emergency services attended two separate crash sites in the area of Knik Goose Bay Road and Vine Road.

Neither of the aircrafts were carrying other passengers.
According to NBC News, the crash took place at around 1pm on Saturday, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
