Tourist shot in back of head in fast food diner in Panama
Police have released this shocking video of a man getting shot in the back of the head as he dined at a fast food restaurant in Panama City.
The terrifying incident occurred at the Triton restaurant.
The chilling CCTV footage shows the gunman walk into the restaurant and shoot Dutch diner Jacob Van Der Hart in the back of the head at point blank range.
According to News.com.au, the suspected hired gunman then fled the scene on a motorbike that had been waiting for him.
Van Der Hart miraculously survived, but he is now fighting for his life in intensive care, reports the Mirror.
No arrests have been made so far and police released the CCTV footage in a bid to track down the man who committed the crime.
According to the Telegraph, a similar incident at the end of December, when another Dutchman was murdered in the same neighbourhood.
